In this workshop, the focus is on building a painting of a whimsical mushroom, highlighting previously explored skills. Two new techniques will be introduced—bokeh, for creating diffused, atmospheric backgrounds, and oil pastel resist, for masking details. Instruction supports developing artists in deepening their watercolor practice while completing a mushroom painting. All supplies are provided. This workshop is well-suited for secondary or intermediate students. As always, we will offer beverages and light snacks.
